Terms of Use
1. What the app does
Just Remote ("the app") is provided by Beijing Dramavision Technology Co., Ltd. ("we"). It lets your phone control a smart TV on the same Wi‑Fi network: D-pad and OK, Back and Home, volume, power, and one-tap shortcuts to your favorite apps and inputs.
2. Independent third party; what is supported
- The app is independent third-party software and has no affiliation, licence or partnership with any TV or platform brand. Any platform or brand names mentioned are used only to describe compatibility.
- Compatibility is stated in tiers; the list under Settings → Supported TVs in the app is authoritative: Verified (checked on real TVs; may carry a qualifier such as "basic remote" when a feature like the app list is unavailable on some models), Experimental (the protocol is implemented but has not been verified on enough real TVs of that brand; some keys may not work), and Not yet supported (the TV can be discovered but not controlled).
- TV manufacturers can change their interfaces through firmware updates and break features that used to work. We will do our best to keep up, but we do not promise continued availability for any brand, model or firmware version.
3. Conditions of use
- You may only control TVs you own or are allowed to control by their owner, and you complete the pairing confirmation on the TV yourself.
- Some features change individual TV settings with your permission (for example enabling "Wake on LAN" so the phone can turn the TV on from standby). The app asks before changing anything and never changes a setting without your permission.
- You must not use the app to interfere with other people's devices, to bypass a manufacturer's security mechanisms, or for anything unlawful.
4. Price and advertising
The app is free and contains no in-app purchases. The current iOS, Android and HarmonyOS apps show no ads and include no advertising SDK. Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. If we ever introduce a paid feature, the price will be shown clearly in the app and require your separate consent.

How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
- The app is provided "as is". We are not responsible for features that do not work because of TV firmware, network conditions, router isolation or other factors outside our control.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app; in any event our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app (currently zero).
- The app only sends standard commands supported by the manufacturers' public interfaces and cannot damage TV hardware; however, do not use "Restart TV" while the TV is performing a sensitive operation such as a firmware update.
7. Intellectual property
The app's software, interface design, icons and copy belong to us. TV brands, app names and icons belong to their respective owners and are shown in the app only for identification.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; an updated version will be shown in the app and require your consent again. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it; we may discontinue the service if we can no longer maintain it, with advance notice on this page.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence. Disputes should first be resolved amicably; failing that, they are submitted to the competent people's court where we are located. Contact: support@maaker.ai.
